Sri Lankan companies are reporting quarterly results on the Colombo Stock Exchange with 10 companies filing Sep 2026 results by late October. Net profits show a 16% year-on-year decline but 17% quarter-on-quarter growth.

Companies releasing quarterly results like they're dropping surprise album singles—27 days late and still acting like they invented punctuality. Meanwhile, profits are down 16% but somehow analysts are hyped about a 17% quarter-over-quarter bump, which is just financial theater's way of saying "we lost less money than last month, be grateful."
