Tourism and Tourist Arrivals

Sri Lanka is experiencing increased tourist arrivals with October recording over 135,000 visitors. This represents positive recovery in the tourism sector for the country.

135,000 tourists in October sounds impressive until you realize half of them are just trying to escape their own countries' social media and the other half got lost looking for the beach. Nothing says "world-class destination" like celebrating numbers that your local shopping mall probably hits on a random Thursday.
