Infrastructure and Power Supply Issues

Sri Lanka experienced an island-wide power outage on October 17, with a preliminary report submitted to PUCSL for investigation. The incident highlighted vulnerabilities in the national power operator and utility infrastructure.

Nothing says "we've got this under control" like submitting a *preliminary* report on why the entire island went dark—weeks later, probably with a PowerPoint that just says "it was dark, pls advise." At this rate, the investigation will be completed right around the time we invent fusion energy.
