Animal Welfare and Dog Microchipping

A new initiative is being tested in Homagama to implant microchips in stray dogs for tracking rabies vaccinations, sterilization, and health records. The pilot project aims to improve animal health management and welfare.

Finally, dogs are getting better healthcare tracking than half the human population—congrats buddy, you're officially more organized than your own government. Next they'll microchip the politicians so we can at least locate them when they go missing during monsoon season.
