International Relations and Diplomacy

Sri Lanka engages in diplomatic activities and celebrates independence day greetings with Commonwealth nations like Dominica. The country also maintains awareness of international military developments in the region.

Nothing says "we're really plugged into global affairs" like wishing Dominica happy independence while your mentions are simultaneously filled with Middle East military strikes—it's like showing up to a potluck with a casserole while the house is on fire. The diplomatic greeting energy: "Yes hello fellow nations, we too exist and remember dates," right before getting distracted by everyone else's regional conflicts.
