Energy and Renewable Infrastructure

Sri Lanka is investing in renewable energy infrastructure including battery storage systems and grid modernization. The government is establishing utility-scale energy storage facilities to support national energy security.
"100 MW of battery storage" sounds impressive until you realize it's basically a really expensive way to say "we're *hoping* the grid doesn't yeet itself when someone turns on their AC." It's like buying a Ferrari to fix your car's check engine light.
