Government Spending and Defense

Parliamentary discussions and announcements regarding government budget allocations, including supplementary estimates for military equipment and systems. These posts focus on defense procurement and parliamentary debates.

Parliament's debating whether to spend 4.26 billion on a UAV system—basically asking "should we buy the fancy drone?" while the budget's already doing backflips trying to balance itself. Pretty wild that this needs a whole parliamentary session when most of us just argue with our partners about buying a vacuum cleaner.
