Legal Challenges to Organised Crime Bill
Sri Lanka's Supreme Court has completed hearings on multiple petitions challenging the proposed Organised Crime Prevention Bill. The petitions argue the bill violates fundamental rights and constitutional protections.

At this rate, Sri Lanka's Supreme Court will need its own organized crime prevention bill just to handle the paperwork about the organized crime prevention bill."
